Throughout our lives, we look to a variety of sources and experts for help.
And it’s not just Christians! From the dawn of time, people are trying to improve themselves. Some of the most famous books are “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.” Another popular one is “How to Stop Worrying and Start Living.” However, still after almost 2000 years, the Bible continues to sell better than any other. And it’s quite often given as a gift, which means people recognize the value of it, and feel others can benefit from reading it.
However, NOT all of us are readers. So, even if you are a subscriber to my blog, I thought you would enjoy a song for today (since I haven’t posted any lately). Here it is <click link below>:
Fix my Eyes
by King & COUNTRY. I think you’ll like it. A little different than most songs nowadays, but quite the example to follow
If there was ever anything to be thankful for, it has to be God and the promises He has given us. From a new life to eternal life, God delivers all we truly need. Many times throughout our lives, we struggle thinking and wondering, worrying and being dismayed when things don’t go our way.
But it seems that every time when we pass a trouble, that’s when we stop and realize that God is there for us and has been all along.
Psalm 9:2 says
“I will be filled with joy because of [God]. I will sing praises to [His] name, O Most High.”
Why not stop today and be filled with God’s joy?!
An appropriate subject for today:
3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. 5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his. 6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin—Romans 6:3-6
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – Matthew 28:19
A day to remember . . . more to come!
And the answer is…
